chapter 1
This book doesn't get my attention right away but, it makes me want to find out what Matty is so anguish to do. In the first chapter you find out that Matty live with a blind man and is impatient. You also learn that he is wanting to do something. This isn't your Newbery award winning first chapter but, ts enough to make you want to find out what Matty is looking for.
